Resting In The Unknown

A Ritual For Living Whole In Uncertainty

A Personal Note

This ritual was born from my ongoing fertility journey—a season marked by yearning, deep grief, and a quiet inner voice that still believes. While conceiving has been my hope, the deeper gift of this experience has been the invitation into long-overdue lifestyle shifts and pathways of healing that had been waiting beneath the surface of all the doing. Slowly, I’ve been learning how to hold myself—with tenderness, with care, and with presence.

What do we do when the data says no, but our heart still whispers yes?

We live in a world that values data. A world that clings to outcomes and asks us to prove, to measure, to forecast everything. But the most meaningful thresholds in our lives—healing, conception, loss, becoming—rarely unfold on a timeline or within a statistic.

Though rooted in my own story, this practice is offered to meet you wherever you are on your own path—whether you're holding data, diagnosis, disappointment, or desire. It isn’t here to override the information that has been shared with you. It’s here to hold the space around it.

It’s a way to hold both the truth of what you’ve been told and the deeper truth of who you are. It is a living practice. May it offer you a way to stay soft in the face of uncertainty and a way to come home to yourself—again and again.

Even here, I trust myself. Even here, I am still whole.”

A Ritual For Living Whole
What You’ll Need: A candle, a bowl of water, and a quiet space to sit or lie down.

01. Step 1: Breathe

Close your eyes.
Place one hand on your belly, the other on your heart.
Inhale slowly: “I am here.”
Exhale gently: “This moment is enough.”
Do this for three full breaths.

02. Speak or Whisper the Words

I release the numbers.
I release the measuring.
I release the fear that data defines me.

I return to my body.
I return to my breath.
I return to this moment—where all things are still possible.

I have done enough.
I am enough.

I am no longer asking, “What are the odds?”
I am asking, “How do I love myself more deeply in this mystery?”

I trust the seed I’ve planted.
I trust what is unfolding, seen and unseen.
And I welcome whatever comes with grace, presence, and softness.

I am not a number.
I am a portal.
I am a home.
I am here.

03. Rest in the Unknown

If you have a bowl of water, touch it with your fingers and say:
“I let go of needing to know. I let go of control. I stay open to magic and wonder.”

If you’re using a candle, blow it out as a symbol of surrender.
Or simply lie down and rest in stillness, imagining light inside your heart space.

Closing Wisdom

You don’t have to know the outcome yet. You don’t have to solve it, fix it, or fight it. All you need to do is remember: even in the waiting, even in the not-knowing, you are allowed to feel whole.

Let this ritual be a place you return to whenever the numbers get loud, or the world feels tight.
You are not a statistic. You are a story still unfolding—with courage, with grace, and in your own time.
