The Mat to the Mic
For female singers, recording artists
and performers
An 8-week Embodied Voice & Yoga journey where health and wellness meets artist development.
How do you feel about your voice and artist journey?
Do you find yourself holding back your ideas or pushing to prove yourself? Are you being guided to sing in a style that doesn't feel good in your body? Or perhaps you can't quiet your inner critic, and you’re exhausted by outside opinions about your music career.
YOU'RE NOT ALONE
Many female artists and performers have felt this way. Given the constant barrage of distorted messages about our bodies and voices, it's not surprising. We're taught that "good girls" are quiet. That we must “fix” our bodies rather than live embodied. To be seen rather than heard and to fake it till we make it. These distortions make it difficult to see ourselves clearly, stifling personal and artistic growth and expression.
A practice for you
The Mat to the Mic
An Embodied Voice & Yoga experience for you
The Mat to the Mic is designed for female performers, singers, and recording artists who want to mindfully chart their course, breaking away from the one-size-fits-all demands of the music industry. This signature program offers a self-care, soul-centered holistic approach to creative process, artistic development, and vocal expression.
Your body carries the wisdom – your voice expresses the way
A healthy-sounding voice is a delicate balance between grounded confidence and tender vulnerability. As artists and performers, we want to express our true selves and, at the same time, resonate with an audience.
Embodiment practices offer a holistic approach to cultivating trust between your body, your voice, and how you express yourself in the world.
By attuning to the wisdom of your body, you will learn to hear and see yourself more clearly, bringing confidence and strength to your voice on and off the stage.

Yes, it can. A daily Embodied Voice & Yoga practice brings vitality, ease, and confidence to your body and voice, translating to better listening and communication skills in everyday life.
-
Traditional voice lessons and vocal coaching aim to improve vocal technique, repertoire, and stage presence in preparation for professional performances. Embodied Voice & Yoga are grounded in voice science and internal practices that will connect you more deeply with your body, mind, and spirit, strengthening your voice in all aspects of your life. In many cases, vocal technique improves once heart and soul components are energetically aligned.
-
Embodied Voice & Yoga practices that are specific to vocal exercises are rooted in voice science. However, if you’re primarily seeking technical vocal instruction, there are vocal instructors and coaches who may better suit your needs.
The Mat to the Mic is a holistic program designed to impart practical communication skills and nourishing mind, body, and vocal exercises that promote and maintain vocal health both on and off stage.
The voice becomes a gateway to healing, creativity, and expressing your bravest vision in the world. Schedule a discovery call here if a tailored program for your unique mind, body, and voice goals feels right.
